πŸš— Checking the oil levels in your car πŸš—Why should you check it?Well, the oil in your engine is one of your vehicle’s most important parts. It keeps everything working how it should and helps to stop things wearing out too quickly. If you don't keep a check and the oil levels go too low this can cause the engine to seize up and lasting damage - no one wants that. Here's what to do to check your oil levels:βœ… Make sure the vehicle is on level ground.βœ… Ensure the engine is off and do not start it.βœ… Open up your bonnet and locate the Dipstick.(Dipstick has a yellow top, check your handbook for location if not sure)βœ… Pull out the Dipstick, wipe it on some tissue and then re-dip, pull back out and re-check the level.βœ… Make sure Oil is between Max -Min levels which is stamped on the dipstick. If it is low top up by 250cc at a time (ΒΌ of one litre bottle)Then...wait 20-30 seconds and re-dip add more if required, again use a tissue between dips if you're not sure. And you're done.Always check your oils levels in the month and especially if going on any long journeys (not happening so much at the moment of course). If you get stuck and need a bit more guidance give me a call on 07841-375279. ☎️ ...
